Maligne Lake and Bald Hllls

This day hike commences at Maligne Lake and moderately ascends to the alpine meadows of the Bald Hills. Wild flowers are abundant throughout this hike along with the possible sightings of the shy woodlands caribou.

Bald Eagles are often sighted over views of the glaciated peaks surrounding the summit. An easy hike along this old fire lookout road brings you to the top, rewarding you with stunning impressions of the world famous Maligne Lake and it's brilliantly unique color.

Bald HillsYou can discover the cultural history of the Maligne Lake Valley with your professional guide. The history of Mary Schafer's first sighting of the lake, will be recreated and you will learn why the view is the best beheld in the Park.
