This is one of Jasper's most spectacular alpine passes at 13 km or 8 miles long. It also offers the second highest trail accessible summits along the way. This is the home of the mountain or woodlands caribou which are often seen here with the occasional grizzly bear. Also the hoary marmot roams the Pass along with the wolf. We camp 2 nights at the Jonas Cut Off campsite, allowing us to explore the environs of the Pass pack free for a day.
